Each September, The fourth Friday of each September is set aside to honor and celebrate all Native Americans, the first Americans who resided in the United States.

At the Miccosukee Tribe Celebrates American Indian Day Event, you will discover that the focus of this wonderful celebration is to learn the way of life, appreciate the heritage and customs of the Miccosukees and of other Native American Tribes who will be joining us from around the country.

Here’s your rare opportunity to watch a Miccosukee Fashion Show, witness the daring alligator wrestling, explore the genuine Indian arts and crafts, and enjoy Native American music and dancers. You’ll be fascinated by the amazing attention to detail and craftsmanship when you discover the multi-colored Miccosukee patchwork, beadwork and jewelry. As an added bonus, don’t forget to complement your day of adventure with one of our captivating airboat rides.
